Grumpy was right there." People related to it immediately, because everyone has been the one standing there while someone else gets all the attention. From there the project grew the way most meme projects actually grow — people found it funny, shared it, and stuck around. We put together a simple website that tells small stories from the cat's life instead of listing features. His bed got taken. His dinner was three pieces of kibble, and he counted.
